How long is the Coffee Home Trial?
The Trial period is up to 28 calendar days. Commencement is the day after the coffee machine is delivered. (Machine delivery day is Day 0)"
 
Will I be able to select coffee machine type and model?
The Coffee Home Trial is only for our Fully Automatic Machines. Trial users won't be able to select a specific machine type or model. All coffee machine models, however, will have the automatic milk frothing system (LatteCrema system), which is the most convenient way to get one-touch Cappuccinos and Lattes.
 
How do I book a Coffee Home Trial?
A deposit of $300 is required at the time of booking and payment is to be made on our eshop only. Add Coffee Home Trial to cart and checkout as you would normally do for an online purchase. We will contact you within 2 working days to arrange for the machine delivery once we receive your booking.
 
How much will the Trial cost if I decide to return the machine?
The Trial will cost you $98, which is to cover delivery services, machine washing and machine inspection. You will receive your refund to your original mode of payment, which will take up to 14 days to process from the time the confirmation of refund email is sent to you. Refunds will be calculated as follows: $300 Deposit - $98 = $202
 
How much will the Trial cost if I decide to purchase a machine?
If you decide to purchase a Fully Automatic Coffee Machine, the Trial is free - we will cover all logistics and machine handling costs. A $300 gift card will be issued to you and can be used for the purchase of a Fully Automatic Coffee Machine (regular priced) on De’Longhi eShop.

TRIAL BOOKING AND DELIVERY
Can I cancel my trial booking if I change my mind?
Machines booked that have not already left our service centre for delivery may still be cancelled. Unfortunately, machines that are already on its way to you cannot be cancelled.
 
To cancel you booking please submit your request to eshop.sg@delonghigroup.com with your order number within one day from your time of booking. For successful booking cancellations, we will refund your booking amount and deduct a cancellation & handling fee of 5%. You will receive your refund to your mode of payment within 30 days."
 
Do I need to sign any documents for collection and return of machines?
You are required to sign a De'Longhi Coffee Home Trial form upon machine delivery and return.
 
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand to use the machine?
No. The machine will be delivered with a pack of coffee beans so you can start enjoying fresh coffee instantly without any advanced preparation. You may wish to have some milk ready for milk-based coffee such as Cappuccino and Lattes.
 
What if I don't know how to use the machine?
The machine comes with a User Card that states the 4 simple steps for one-touch coffee. The 4 steps are all you need to know to get your fresh cup of coffee instantly. The User Card will also list contact points if you do need further help.

RETURNING THE MACHINE
How do I return the machine after the 28 days?
One week before the Trial ends, an email will be sent to you explaining the Machine Return or Machine Purchase options you can take, and to plan for your preferred machine collection date. 3 days before your Trial, we will give you a call to confirm the date/time to collect the Trial machine from you. "
 
Can I extend the Trial period?
No grace period will be given nor exceptions granted in the return of the coffee machine. The Trial period is defined as a total of 28 calendar days, commencing one day after machine delivery which is taken as Day 1.
 
MACHINE DAMAGE POLICY
What if I damaged the machine?
Repair charges incurred for damaged machines will be borne by Trial users in accordance to the Coffee Home Trial terms and conditions.
 
What if I return the machine with missing parts?
Cost of replacing missing parts will be borne by Trial users in accordance to the Coffee Home Trial terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions

"$300 Gift Card for Fully Automatic Coffee Machine Purchase Programme" Terms & Conditions

1. This offer is valid for customers who have participated in the Coffee Home Trial from 1 November 2021. This $300 Gift Card may be utilised only for the purchase of De'Longhi Fully Automatic Coffee Machines (regular priced) at De'Longhi eshop (shop.delonghi.com/dl_sg) within thirty (30) calendar days, commencing from the date the Gift Card has been issued to you.
 
2. Each booking of Coffee Home Trial that a customer participates in entitles them to 1 Gift Card.
 
3. No extension of validity period is allowed and any unutilised Gift Card will be forfeited.
 
4. Gift Card is not exchangeable for cash or kind.
 
5. Gift Card is for single use only and cannot be used in conjunction or in combination with any other vouchers, promotions, discounts and/or offers.
 
6. De'Longhi reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and/or amend, suspend or terminate the Trial Programme at any time without prior notice and without assigning any reason.

"Coffee Home Trial" Terms & Conditions
1. The Coffee Home Trial programme will commence on 15 November 2021 and is only for Fully Automatic Coffee Machines.
 
2. To participate in the Trial programme, you are required to pay a $300 deposit to process the booking on the De'Longhi eshop and agree to allow De'Longhi and its appointed Service Partner to contact you to confirm machine delivery/collection arrangements, provide support information and remind/notify you on any updates for the purpose of the Coffee Home Trial. Upon booking confirmation, you agree to the terms and conditions herein ("Full Terms").
 
3. This Trial programme shall only be conducted through De'Longhi Singapore.
 
4. You are required to sign a Coffee Home Trial Form to acknowledge that you have received the machine during delivery, as well as to acknowledge the collection of the machine.
 
5. The Trial Machine is, and shall at all times be and remain, the sole and exclusive property of De'Longhi, and may not be removed your premises without De'Longhi's written consent.
 
6. You represent and warrant that electrical service on its premises are proper and adequate for the usage of the Trial Machine. De'Longhi will not be held liable for any damages arising out of defective electrical services.
 
7. You must keep the machine in good and marketable condition and adhere to good standards in operating the Trial Machine with care. You will be liable for any loss or damage to the Trial Machine resulting from negligence or wilful conduct during the Coffee Home Trial period. De'Longhi reserves the right to deduct charges in full or partial from the deposit due to loss and/or damage of the Trial Machine, or seek further compensation depending on the extend of the damage, based on De'Longhi's discretion.
 
8. At the end of 28 calendar days from the issuance of Trial Machine, you shall return the Trial Machine to De'Longhi by the collection service offered by De'Longhi. De'Longhi will contact you towards the end of the Trial period to confirm a collection date and time for the collection. De'Longhi reserves the right to forfeit your deposit paid during booking, or seek further compensation should there be any failure to return the Trial Machine within the stipulated return date and time. You are required to sign the Coffee Home Trial Form to acknowledge the return of the Trial Machine should you successfully return the Trial Machine.
 
9. For Trial machines that have been successfully returned in good and marketable condition without any loss or damage, refunds or gift cards will be issued accordingly:
i.) If you have indicated on the Coffee Home Trial Form that you wish to return the Trial machine, we will deduct the cost of Trial of $98 from the deposit paid and refund the remaining amount. A refund notification will be sent to you by electronic message and refunds will take up to 14 days to process from the date of notification.
 
ii) If you have indicated on the Coffee Home Trial Form that you wish to purchase a Fully Automatic Coffee Machine, you will receive a $300 Gift Card by electronic message which may be utilised only for the purchase of a De'Longhi Fully Automatic Coffee Machine at shop.delonghi.com/dl_sg, in accordance with the "$300 Gift Card for Fully Automatic Coffee Machine Purchase Programme" Terms & Conditions.  A Gift Card notification will be sent to you by electronic message and issuance of Gift Cards will take up to 14 days from notification.
 
 
10. By participating in this Coffee Home Trial programme, you consent to De'Longhi's collection, use, processing and disclosure of personal information relating to you in order to conduct the programme and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Each participant consents to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information, and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Validity of an entry is conditional on providing this information. Each participant agrees that De'Longhi may, for a reasonable period of time unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages to and/or telephoning the participant(s).
 
11. De'Longhi reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion at any time and without assigning any reason to amend these Full Terms. No person shall be entitled to, and De'Longhi shall not be liable for, any payment or compensation (whether in cash, credit or kind) whatsoever arising from the foregoing.
 
12. If this Trial is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, or for any other reason deemed necessary by De'Longhi, De'Longhi reserves the right in its sole discretion at any time and without assigning any reason, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to suspend, terminate or cancel this programme, as appropriate. No person shall be entitled to, and De'Longhi shall not be liable for, any payment or compensation (whether in cash, credit or kind) whatsoever arising from the foregoing.
 
13. De'Longhi makes no guarantee of the availability of appointments and will not be held responsible for any interruption of service, delay or failure of service that may interfere with the ability to participate in the Trial for whatever reason.
 
14. In the event of any dispute arising from this Trial  or relating to the interpretation of these Full Terms, the decision of Trial shall be final and binding on all parties. No correspondence or further claims will be entertained.
